I was bracing for a loud, cheap-sounding buzz, but this thing is truly whisper-quiet. The discreet cover makes it easy to keep in my purse without a second thought, and I can barely hear it even up close.

The discreet cover is such a nice touch—it looks like a little lipstick case on my nightstand, so no awkward questions. And honestly, the motor is so quiet I used it while my roommate was asleep in the next bed and she never stirred.

I was nervous about noise, but this thing is genuinely whisper-quiet even on the highest setting. The cover clicks on securely and it fits in my palm, so nobody would guess what it is.
